Cianross landslide at St. Vigil in Enneberg, Italy

On the afternoon of April 22, 2006, a major slope failure occurred at Cianross, resulting in the collapse of the mountain station, a support structure of the ski lift of the same name, and the associated ski slope. The landslide, followed by mud and debris flows, also affected the areas below, causing damage to infrastructure and nearby buildings.

EUT Engineering carried out a comprehensive geological investigation to analyze the causes of the instability. The study formed the basis for the planning and design of the slope restoration measures as well as the reconstruction of the ski lift and ski slope.
